He and Parker discuss how he navigates and breaks down the swampy Alabama public land areas he hunts, how he scouts it, and then how he executes a hunt. They talk about different food sources that he has found the most success on, especially when it comes to mature bucks. We tend to put human characteristics on deer when it comes to food, but Dave helps us understand that what most hunters tend to believe about a deer’s feeding habits may be further from the truth than what we think.
