And today on the show, we have Morgan Wright from Morgan's Pop Talks podcast.

Morgan is a return guest to the show.

And she, I really consider her to be, I mean, she's an expert in all reality TV, to be honest.

But I really love talking to her about the, as I call them just the younger shows on Bravo, the summer houses, Southern Charms, Van Pum Rules.

And I really haven't gotten into the season of Southern Charm yet on the show.

So Morgan's here to help me talk about the first three episodes of Southern Charm this season.

We talk about the Van Pum Rules reboot, as well as some of the storylines in and around Southern Charm that have happened sort of a little bit outside of the show that interweave with what's happening on the show, like Olivia Flowers stuff, this Sally versus Taylor stuff, just a couple other different things that have popped up this week, because I feel like there's been sort of like a lot of news. Obviously, the Sierra comments about Vanita. We talk a lot about that. So Morgan helped me break it all down. We, you know, when I first watched the Van der Pruy's reboot premiere, I felt pretty good about it, to be honest. Like my, again, my expectations for that were so low. And so I was sort of pleasantly surprised. Morgan sort of brought me a little bit back down to Earth, but I still feel kind of cautiously out of mistake about that, but we talk a lot about that, and she kind of explains her point of view on it. So yeah, our talk is all about Southern Charm and Vanderpumpurals reboot premiere. I just want to touch it very quickly on the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives reunion that came out yesterday, today, Thursday, yesterday

when you're listening to this. What the fuck was that? I'm sorry, that was the weirdest, most

like useless reunion, I can remember. And Nick Vile hosted the other one. So like,

Sotty hosted this one, and she didn't do like a particularly bad job, but I kind of felt like

she was a little bit in over her head. And I like Sasi, but, and I'm excited to see her back on TV. But this, I mean, and it wasn't just her fault. Like, there were a lot of really weird production decisions that were made about this. It felt really kind of, the focus was really oversized on the men and the quote-unquote dad talk.

Like, they need to stop trying to make dad talk happen.

It feels like they're almost like trying to give the men much more screen time,

like they almost do on Real House House as in New Jersey.

And that doesn't really land well with a lot of people.

And these men are also like even worse than the Jersey guys so it's like why did they like the fact that

they cleared the actual cast of the show the women of monta of montau off of the stage to make room
