Correct. What's up, Laker fans? Welcome to the Laker Film Room podcast. I'm Pete, joined by Darius.

And today, we're going to take a deep dive into a different part of the Lakers organization

and recap the South Bay Lakers' stellar season this year. D, they are a team that has not had their hearts

broken by those who vote for rewards. And so Zach Guthrie won Coach of the Month for March

and is one of the candidates for Coach of the Year in the G League this year. Chris Mannion comes in

second defensive player of the year voting, makes all first team defense. The team leads the league in point differential.

It's something that they made it to, I think, the second round of the playoffs. They made it

into the playoff. Basically, Austin and Luca go down, Buffkin, Dalton. Everybody's like,

hey, you got to come join us on the road trip, a little short-handed, and they lose to the

defending champs in the playoffs. And to help us recap this season and learn as much as we can know, we've got our old friend Raj Chappalo joining us. Raj, welcome back. How you doing, man? I'm doing well. Yeah, South Bay is a lot more fun to talk about right now than the parent team is. So glad to get a little break from that to talk about a team. That had a long playoff run.

We'll see what the Lakers do. But I believe the South Bay got to the third rounds. They won two

playoff games lost in the third round. Sadly, as you pointed out, because we had to send some

reinforcements up to, I believe it was Dallas. That was the game that they had to play.

Dallas. Oh, man. Just the whole idea of the Lakers needing to pull from their G League team.
