Columns of uniformed military veterans marched on Zuma's home.

A company by some of his ANC supporters and armed Zulu warriors, convoys of cars packed

with his supporters, blocked the roads.

A human shield had arrived to protect Jacob Zuma from the authorities, with some of his supporters

threatening a civil war if he was arrested.

If president Zuma continued to be targeted, and if president Zuma is eventually sentenced

to prison, that our country will be torn apart.

The rowdy, fractious crowds sang songs from the struggle, when the ANC, including a young

Jacob Zuma, fought against apartheid.

And as he addressed the assembled media, it was the apartheid again that Zuma turned

to.

Very concerned that South Africa is fast, sliding back to apartheid type rule.
