massive recruiting news in the world of Kentucky basketball recruiting as long time commit Kentucky basketball

Kentucky basketball sign e Sky Clark has decided to part ways with the university he's decided to take a step back and reevaluate his options moving forward this was a something that has been kind of in the works behind the scenes last week or so that sky

decided to ultimately announce himself on this Sunday afternoon and what better way to talk about it then by getting it from the horses mouth

himself we are bringing on Sky Clark to discuss his decision to decommit from the program what comes next what led to this decision some of the options that he's

considering will he consider the pro route you know could a could he reunite with Joel Justice I know that's something that Kentucky fans have been discussing

thoroughly but we're also having his father Kenny Clark on who has been awesome a great parent guy that has been great to me and definitely want to give him a chance to talk about the

process as well what led to this decision kind of as his father break things down from his perspective and just kind of how he was able to watch from from a far

in and up close the how things unfolded and how we got to this point so a bunch of great stuff we're going to start with Kenny Clark first and then we will go directly into our

interview with Sky Clark and then we'll be back in a little while probably in the next day or two to kind of have a break break down

episode of how it all unfolds what it means moving forward but I wanted to make sure we got these interviews out as soon as possible so without further ado let us begin our conversation with Kenny Clark

I guess let's just get started with you know kind of what led to this this decision for you guys and what was that moment like when a sky ultimately came to that decision

I don't know if it's anything that necessarily like like led to like nothing nothing actually happened besides the fact that you know my son has been through a lot like this last

you know year or or nine months or whatever since his since his injury and mentally you know like you never know what a kid is holding in you know what I mean so he's been he's been

you know suppressing his feelings but you know the more and more you know as time went on the more and more he just figured out he wanted to take a step back

and make sure he did what was right for Sky Clark and not just was right for everybody else you know I'm saying he he solely was just doing you know doing this to make sure you know he was making the right decision you know what I'm saying
