Yesterday during our pre game show what you know leading up to the SEC tournament in Tampa the things that we talked about kind of candor fruition Sean the need for just winning and getting out of there doing whatever you can to survive in advance

It's exactly how it happened Kentucky I thought played pretty well but Vandy played for their standards extremely well and kept it close throughout the game we got you know we talked beforehand that this was an opportunity for tie tie Washington to step up

and really start finding his shot that happened and more importantly they they were found a way to limit Scotty Pippin Jr. Jordan Wright obviously exploded for for I believe his second leading scoring total of his season I believe I

think his highest was 28 points but he finishes with 27 just very important impressive performance for him but Sean Kentucky does just enough they get down early

but they claw their way back and pull off the very solid 77 to 71 victory so let's get rolling with some of these early takeaways what you liked about the cats performance what you didn't like

and what you need to see moving forward as we look ahead to Kentucky's matchup against Tennessee this afternoon.

Yeah I think that that Vandy team last night not not many teams in college basketball I think could have survived that that effort from Vandy I mean it was a collective effort from the Comma doors I did say in the pregame show that I wanted to see Kentucky kind of lock up Scotty Pippin Jr.

but it was also okay if he went and got 30 as long as other guys didn't go off well last night was a better Vanderbilt basketball team Jack than what Kentucky had seen the first two times you mentioned Jordan Wright with 27

Liam Robbins was a force with non points my study got to 11 points like they had a collective effort if Scotty had got what he usually gets or even got his average Kentucky wasn't surviving that night so that they focused in on that some tired legs I think took over with Scottie Pippin Jr.

and just in that environment I mean that was a good Vanderbilt team last night they just kept clawing back they every time you think Kentucky was going to put the game away they come away with another run.
