Bruce Pearl, several reports throwing it out there that Bruce Pearl is retiring from Auburn basketball

with the assumption that the next step will be his son, Stephen Pearl,

will be Auburn's next head coach.

This is something that I've heard for the last few months and was skeptical on

like if it would actually happen until a few weeks ago.

He joined John Rothstein's show and Rothstein asked him specifically about how much

longer he had.

And I think Bruce Pearl's answer to that question was him kind of soft launching the

idea that this may not be for too much longer.

Now, I think it was wording in a way where it wasn't going to be just weeks later.

But talking to folks behind the scenes, like, I think this was something that was kind of um kind

of discussed i don't think the folks that are like you know within the program are shocked

that this happened um how much of this is tied to potential senate run and all of that i'm not

sure i'm not sure but i think if you connect all the dots,
