My opening statement tonight, here's the thing about negotiations.

You can't always get what you want.

And if we are actually on the brink of finally seeing a deal with Iran,

President Trump may not be getting everything he wants.

He may have to agree as having that fall short of the total victory he promised the American people.

He may have to accept terms he would not have taken at the start of this war. And those terms, they could come soon,

like it would the next several hours kind of soon. Because we're learning that the Iranians are

expected to hand over their reply to a U.S. proposal by tomorrow, a proposal outlining an end to this

conflict. And what is it?

Apparently a one-page memo.

A source tells us it's meant, says it's meant to lure Iran's moderates back to the negotiating

table.

It would declare the war over.

It would trigger a 30-day negotiation period for the thornier issues like the Strait of

Fremuz and of course Iran's nuclear program. Now Trump was asked how we got here
