Sitting in one of my dresser drawers somewhere is a tiny t-shirt that my father and my grandfather bought for me in Madison Square Garden.

I was two years old.

I mean, it might fit my head if I tried it on now, but I still have it.

It's a WrestleMania shirt from the very first WrestleMania and Madison Square Garden.

They both went to the show.

They were both fans.

And because of them, I became a wrestling fan.

But what really drew me in and what really made me a wrestling fan was Hulk Hogan.

And I have a lot of fond memories from my childhood as a wrestling fan.

And almost all of them involve Hogan.

You know, my earliest memory of watching him, he wasn't even wearing the red and yellow.

He was wearing white trunks in one match and blue trunks in another.

He was from a Coliseum video called the Hulkster, Hulk Hogan.

I remember it came in a blue box.

And it showed him beating the Iron Sheik to win the WWF title. It had their rematch on there and a cage match with Don

Morocco. And I was hooked. It's still the greatest cast of characters ever assembled in all

of wrestling. Like if you grew up watching the NWA, you may feel differently, you know, for you, it may

have been Sting, and the horsemen, and the road warriors, and Nikita, and Dusty, and so on.

But for me, it was Hogan.

It was the macho men.

It was Andre the Giant.

Routy, Rowdy Piper, Jake the Snake, the million-dollar man, demolition.
