1:08.9	Thanks, Karen. I'm excited to be here. So today we're spoiling
1:12.4	Soul, the new Pixar movie directed by Pete Doctor and co-directed by Kemp Powers. We'll go over
1:18.4	the general plot first. I think as anyone who's seen the trailer knows, this focuses on a
1:23.4	band teacher named Joe, played by Jamie Fox, who pretty much right after scoring the jazz
1:29.6	gig of his life as part of the Dorothea Williams Quartet, unfortunately falls through a
1:35.1	manhole and die slash falls into a coma, and his soul goes into the great beyond. Dan, do you
1:41.8	want to talk a little bit about what he finds in the quote-unquote
1:45.4	afterlife? Sure. The afterlife he finds is not quite the afterlife he potentially has
1:53.3	imagined. It's a very Pixarian invention of a ramp leading to a sort of great whirl in the sky that suggests, well, there's Balhalla or heaven or whatever it is that you think he might be going to.
