Summary

Hank Hanegraaff, president of the Christian Research Institute and host of the 𝘉𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘈𝘯𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘔𝘢𝘯 broadcast, distinguishes between ministry-centric giving and soul-centric giving. CRI is committed to that which is soul-centric—interested in the spiritual benefit that giving abounds to the account of the giver. Less focused on the needs of ministry—though important and significant—CRI focuses more on the nous (mind/soul—“the eye of the heart,” “the seat of our spiritual perceptions”) of the giver. Become conscious of the blessings inherent in giving—that giving changes the giver. Give because in giving you will be transformed. As we approach the end of 2021, thank you to all who have given to the life-changing work of the Christian Research Institute—the Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank Unplugged podcast, Christian Research Journal, equip.org, and the other ministry work of CRI that your generosity enables. Hi, this is Hank Hennigraph, president of the Christian Research Institute and host of the Bible Instrument

0:19.3

with another very special, Hank

0:23.1

unplug short, special because we are approaching the end of 2021. And as we do, I want to thank

0:33.2

all of you who stand shoulder to shoulder with me in the battle for life and truth.

0:41.1

I want to remind you as well that our ministry is committed to that which is soul-centric,

0:52.1

not to that which is just ministry-centric. And what I mean by that is

0:57.9

we are interested in the spiritual benefit that giving abounds to the account of the giver. In other words, we are less focused on the needs of ministry,

1:15.9

although those needs are important and significant than we are focused on the noose of the

1:24.7

giver. The noose is the eye of the body. It is the seat of our spiritual perceptions.

1:34.6

And I think so often when the end of year rolls around and ministries ask for money,

1:41.7

we fail to point out to those who have no concept of the blessings inherent in

1:49.0

giving that giving changes us. And so this year as we enter into a brand new year.

2:01.3

I want you to remember to give

2:05.0

because in giving you yourself

2:10.2

will be transformed.

2:13.5

Thanks for all of you who have given

2:15.6

and thanks for, again, your partnership in the Ministry of the Christian Research Institute, the Bible and Superman broadcast, and the many outreaches that we have been enabled by your generosity to partake in, not only here, but abroad.

2:39.1

So long for now.
