Or just a few moments from the president's address before the UN General Assembly here in New York City. We will take you there live when it happens. That's Brazilian President Lula speaking in advance. Main time markets pretty much close to the flat line, although tech is lagging today.

Breath is fairly positive about 3 to 1, Vicks back above 16, yield curve down just a bit, 10-year backing off of 414.

Let's get to Amon Javris this morning with more on what to expect from the president.

Good morning, Carl.

A White House official tells me President Trump is going to use this speech in a couple of minutes to focus on the failures of

globalism as he sees them and to deliver blunt and tough talk to the United Nations General Assembly.

The official says President Trump has effectively restored American strength on the world stage

and says his historic speech

at the United Nations General Assembly will highlight his success in delivering peace on a scale

that no other president has accomplished while simultaneously speaking bluntly about how globalist

ideologies risk destroying successful nations around the world. Now, this is the president's first U.N.

address of his second term, and it comes after he shook up the global trading system with dramatic

increases in American tariffs earlier this year and shocked many members of the NATO alliance

with his treatment of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy earlier this year as well.

The president's expected to meet with the Ukrainian leader while in New York today, so we'll see

the evolution of that relationship play out.

And he's expected to meet with Argentine President Javier Melly today, along with Treasury Secretary

Scott Bessent.

They're going to discuss a way forward for the financial markets of Argentina.

Not clear if we're going to see a U.S. financial intervention here,

Secretary Bessent told reporters yesterday that that's going to depend on market conditions as of this morning.
