Summary
Next up another TYSO first timer (so we don’t blame her for forgetting socks), actress Sosie Bacon! Rick met Sosie last year when they shot their Amazon pilot together. WHICH just got picked up to series!! (https://deadline.com/2020/06/jason-katims-israel-on-the-spectrum-series-amazon-1202959498/)
She joins us on the balcony, which even doubles as a toilet (to Rick’s moms disdain) and learns to get comfortable being uncomfortable. Sosie reflects on her acting ambitions and how her parents, Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, played a part in her decision to start her career at 21, as well as leaving Brown University.
Sosie gets to intimately know our TYSO goblin (or does she?) and Rick does what he does best, by pushing his guests to explain and open up about the things they didn’t know they needed to unpack. They discuss being on set with autistic cast members, how it differs from typical filming projects, and how they use communication tools, both in professional and personal relationships.
