We are all playing hurt today, not even not I wouldn't say injured, but we're definitely playing hurt this morning.

As we roll into record this right now after paying off our V foundation auction item for this year.

So I am Mike Goliath Jr. You hear me with my father, Mike Goliath senior who is also here every Monday through Friday, 6 to 10 a.m. Eastern on Goliath and Wingo on ESPN radio and a smattering of ESPN television channels.

My mom, Chris Goliath is here, my brother Jake, his wife Jenny and my sister Sydney is in the fetal position back in Chicago right now.

So we are doing this podcast the day after a hoodie in the blowfish concert at Madison Square Garden in New York for people who have been around here listening.

For the V foundation auction here at ESPN every year, we raise a bunch of money for cancer research.

And when I say we, I mean us and you, everyone who listens, watches and consumes ESPN and its many platforms, give so generously a hundred percent of the proceeds go to cancer research and our auction item,

we take a cupcake bake off with the Goliath family and a trip to Madison Square Garden to see hoodie in the blowfish of VIP access and all of that good stuff went for $13,000.

We met Brent and Argy who are our kind donors this weekend and we took them through the process.

And so guys, we built this up for a long time. How did everyone feel like this went?

Well, I think the overview because we'll obviously get into them was and it was all on on on a Sunday we did this the whole thing between cupcake wars and hoodie.

We went from sugar high to alcohol low. I mean, that's basically how the one day went and we were all in with both feet starting with the cupcake wars.

But I think it went well, but I think as you may tell by the sound of our voices, we are all hurting a little bit.

It always seems like it as you guys know from the concert everyone takes a shot before they go on the stage.

It seems to be the final nail in the coffin. Back shot before yeah, that's when things start to get a little dark.

As you say, we've been to a fair amount of serious record concerts and for them the tradition. I'm sure a lot of musical acts do this, but

there is a reason company. We are always fortunate to be a part of that group shot. You're right. You can watch the light leave everyone's eyes.
