Hey, if you have your Bibles, we'll be in a couple of places, and then I would love for you to take notes.

This morning is part two, and I think a three-part series we're looking at sorrow and just how to how to navigate the issues of the heart, specifically in the realm of sorrow.

And last week we looked at personal sorrow. This week,

we're going to look at corporate sorrow. And really, we have two options. It can be a doorway or a

dead end. And I am just convicted that we have not equipped the body of Christ to handle

seasons of sorrow. And if you don't know how to handle it, it can shut you down

and is detrimental for your faith and makes your heart sick. And if your heart's sick,

you're life sick. And if you're life sick, Jesus didn't come to give us a sick life. He came

to give us life and life abundantly. And so he paid a lofty price to live in your heart, to call that his home.

And he's jealous for it.

And he's jealous for all that you've experienced, all that you're going through.

And he wants to redeem it.

And he wants to set you above it so that you can move from glory to glory.

And a lot of those things we would not choose. We would

not pick the path that some of us find ourselves in, but the Lord is leading you. And he's a man of

sorrows and he's acquainted with sorrows and he's more than able to take sorrow and bring joy

out of that, to take ashes and bring beauty. And so my hope,

just as your pastor is to equip you. So would you put your hand on that place, that just precious

place? It's so valuable to him for him to call your heart his home. And so, Lord, your face

resides here for every born again believer. You call them your temples. And so, Lord, your face resides here for every born-again believer.

You call them your temples. And I pray, Holy Spirit, that you would come like a scalpel

and that you would do surgery this morning and that you would remove what needs to be removed,
