Hey, I want to talk about delayed deliverance today.

I, you know, sorrow, the Greek word for Saras Lupe, L-U-P-E, and it actually means an

internal, internal weight that you carry.

And sorrow is unique. It can come in various forms. I think sorrow in many

respects is a gift from God that we have godly sorrow over our sin. And that leads us to repentance.

You know, when the conviction of God falls upon you and you feel a godly sorrow

and you're aware of your need for his mercy and his grace. And that sorrow leads you to a point

where you repent and you change. That was me when I was 23 in college. Just godly sorrow hit my

heart and I realized the state of my life and my need for change.

And praise God for godly sorrow.

Sometimes sorrow can come through sudden loss.

I had a friend yesterday whose father went to be with Jesus.

It wasn't as sudden as others that I've walked with, but death and

sorrow go hand in hand. You with me? And, you know, sometimes you see it from afar, but oftentimes

sorrow does not knock. It does not introduce itself. It just shows up, and you're responding to

that weight that's internally. but what we do with that

weight matters and and it matters for the condition and state of your heart because your heart is

so precious to him but sorrow in in in the greek if you if you study it out and and through even

philosophy it it's described internally as a weight or a substance,

a substance that resides in the human heart. And you can juxtapose that. You can compare the weight
