different for a Monday. Monday's a lot of times are like shows with some current events blended in,

doom and gloom, all of that stuff. Today we're not going to do any of that. Today we're going to be

talking about a plant called sorghum and as you might have noticed the the title of today's

episode is sorghum the perfect prepper grain and some of you might have gotten me

announcements somewhere on social media or telegram or something like that or if you're listening

to the audio you just thought come through in your podcast feed you know depending on whatever

you're using and thought jack's going to talk about sorghum sorghum sugar sorghum is a grain

jack's a key to war look look at jack look what he looks like now compared to five years ago

you're not going to start eating bread again I'm not but some of you do and I talked about this

kind of tease this episode a week ago there's a few things involved with this topic and one is

I have my personal dietary choices I do not say if you don't do everything jack does don't listen

to this survival podcast just go away and die I actually care about my entire audience including

people that have different dietary choices in me so there is a place for grain for discussion

of especially when it comes to growing it next up is I value grain my bird's eat grain you know

so it's it's a feed source for me more than anything else and there's a lot of other benefits

that is a homesteader a prepper a small-scale farmer anything in between that you can gain from

the use of sorghum we're going to talk about a bunch of them today and so there's a there's a

tremendous incentive for me to grow this crop and I have in fact grown it here on my property in the

past and I'm doing so again this year basically coming back around to hey I grew this before

it worked really good and I wasn't even growing it and prepared beds or anything when I put my

food forest in and there was all tiny little trees and all and it wasn't actually a forest yet
