week we are joined by the lovely Sophie Lee. She chats towards all about her life changing

accident and how the traumatic experience has not only changed her perspective on life,

but it's also made her feel like she's become a better person.

So I was basically on fire for like 20, 30 seconds before it all went out and that moment

really gave me a very cold understanding of life because everything got taken away from

it in that moment.

Hi Sophie. Hi. Welcome to the PLD podcast. Thank you for having me. I feel like we've been

needing to do this for ages. I watched so many of your podcasts. I love you. Yeah, like

the one with Daisy and Ellie. Yeah. Yeah. And I was like, oh god, I've been watching

the voice friend call. Yeah. They were so funny. I watched them and I'm like, that's

going to be me one day. You're going to be me one day. So we're trying to get you in

for ages. You're finally here. And I'm really excited about today's episode because you hold

such a strong message to our listeners. And I think, you know, you've been through a traumatic

incident, which we're going to get into a little bit later on, but you haven't let that

hold you back or stop you from pursuing your dreams at all, which is incredible. So I want

to start the beginning. Your dancing has kind of taken you around the world. It's been

crazy. You know, it's been crazy. Obviously when you're in that industry, so saturated as

it is, you have to be different. And because I was given such a big opportunity, I performed

in Chicago when this first happened. And it was a first time, kind of like a broad,

and it was such an honor because it was a charity event. And I thought, I'm just doing

something, something, something, giving back. Yeah. And to be able to have those experiences
