When Zaza was born four years ago, I brought her home from the hospital.

I was so excited. I had all the vibes going. There was candles all over my house. You guys know the ones,

they're like high-end luxurious candles that are shampoo. was the music was perfect and Zaza after a couple weeks developed this cough it was like a heavy

cough it was a very specific cough it had depth to it you know what I mean and I could

not figure out where it was coming from. I thought maybe she was sick, but we hadn't had a lot of people over, so it was confusing. Anyway, my holistic friend came over and she was horrified that I was burning these candles all over the house.

She was like, Lauren, these candles are disgusting.

She's like, there's parabins in them, there's heavy metals,

there's like fallates, all this gross shit in these candles. I freaked out I didn't I didn't

know that she goes not only is there all this added shit in the wax it's also in

the wick of the candle so So all of this was just burning into my house for weeks and weeks. And I had this like a sort of like epiphany about it. I took all the candles out of my house. I got rid of them and I stopped

candles altogether. The cough went away in like a week. Okay, it stopped. There was no cough.

I stopped burning candles full of all that nasty chemical

shit in my house from there on out and it's been an absolute game changer.

When this happened four years ago I immediately knew that I needed to disrupt the market with a skinny

confidential candle. I wanted something that was non-toxic that mothers could

burn for a cleaner, better home.

This was really important to me.

I wanted to create peace of mind for mothers,

but also just like I wanted to be able to burn a candle

in the office without having to worry about it. I'm someone that loves the
