My guest is Sophia Rocklin.

Sophia is an author, speaker, nonprofitprofit organizer and an anthropologist that does ethnobotanist research in the Amazon.

She is also the co-author of Wind Plant's Dream with Daniel Pinchbeck and is currently on the Head Talks tour with

going to really enjoy this podcast. My friends, the year 2020 shows up a lot in science fiction. It's a great number. Nice and juicy round, same the backwards

that as Ford and so forth. Great choice for it to be in science fiction novels and they predicted the future.

But who would have imagined what it would actually be like?

You know, because in those novels, we tend to think of the future as flying cars of some perhaps some blade runner type of situation

which I guess we're fast approaching that but if you look at what has actually come to pass

in society in the world right now.

Who would have ever imagined that people are polarized online like never before?

There is more information of flowing in this second than transpired

across thousands and thousands of years of human history.

There's no way, we can never know what the future will be like or what will happen next.
