Last week, Sony announced two new cameras to their lineup, the A6500 and the

0:04.1

ARX100 Mark 5. And I want to talk a little bit about the ARX 100 Mark 5,

0:08.0

because I'm really excited about this. This is actually the Mark 4. So this was the last

0:12.0

iteration, and I bought this camera

0:13.2

last summer and I have used it pretty much all year this is an incredible camera

0:18.0

and mainly I love it because of its size and then the performance that you get

0:21.2

out of it and it's really small you can fit it in your pocket mine's starting to

0:24.3

get scuffed up because it was in my pocket when I fell off a skateboard last month

0:27.3

but anyway digress it still works just fine but I've been really excited about an

0:31.5

upgrade to this and the only complaints that I have about the Mark 4 well there's a few but mainly one of the things is when you're shooting stills with this

0:45.0

fastest camera in the world.

0:42.0

There is a little bit of lag time with the focus.

0:44.0

Once it's locked in, the continuous focus works great.

0:47.0

But it's just not a super fast camera

0:49.0

if you're trying to capture action shots or anything that's fast moving.

0:52.0

The video works great on it, it does 4k video, but you have a 5 minute

0:55.8

recording limit because of overheating issues in the camera. So I was really excited when they announced

1:00.5

the Mark 5, and I want to talk about some of the performance issues

1:03.7

that they have addressed.

1:04.6

And this camera is going to be a lot faster

1:07.3

than the Mark 4.
