We dig into PlayStation’s latest tech patent that would provide AI-driven assistance to players, both in the form of “ghost” characters that demonstrate the right way to beat part of a game, or a feature that would allow the game to play itself, something it would be real good at after absorbing countless hours of YouTube gameplay and harvesting player data from PSN. Bear in mind, this is just a patent: it could be a major selling point of the PlayStation 6, or it could just get scrapped before we ever hear anything official.
