Today, Sony and Tencent stopped fighting, but have they made up?

Have they really made up?

Let's start with what you need to know with that big story.

So this was on top of tech meme and Google News.

So I figure it's a big story.

Sony sued Tencent back in July for copyright and trademark infringement, claiming that Tencent's

game, Light of Motiram, was a, in Sony's word, Slavish clone, not Slavic Clown, Slavish clone

of Sony's own Horizon Zero Dawn. Now, Tencent agreed to stop promoting and publicly testing the game earlier in the month,

indicating something was going up.

And now the companies have reached a confidential settlement and dismissed the case with prejudice.

That means it cannot be brought back to court later.

So Tencent's free and clear.

Sony can't come back and say, well,

wait a minute, we're going to sue you after all, or vice versa. Light of Motiram is no longer available

on Steam or Epic's game stores. Sony's case alleged the 10 cent copied aspects of Horizon Zero

Dawn as well as Horizon Forbidden West and Lego Horizon Adventures.

They specifically called out the setting, having robots and humans in a post-apocalyptic area,
