After this, we're doing a episode of the kind of funny screencast taking a week off of in-review to try something that has been pretty heavily requested by all, which is taking the idea that we've been doing on gamescast of every month, checking out every game coming out that month and doing kind of a hype check, but doing it for movies. We're going to do this episode, checking out all the movies coming out the rest of this year. We have three months left.

So let's see what we got going on.

2:18.0

Currently, it's sitting at an 83 on Metacritic.

2:20.8

The game is releasing on Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Windows, Xbox 1 Xbox Series on September 25th, 2025,

2:29.5

with the Nintendo Switch 2 version planned for a later date, quote on quote.

2:50.8

I was so certain that we're going to get that date during like the Nintendo Direct and we're probably going to get some, I don't know, put Mario in it, you know what I thought? Mario was just in a cart racer. Yeah, they'll love each other now. They're all kissing, they're all in the Olympics. They're all for the last processing. You see the commercial of them talking shit? Yeah.

2:51.5

Yeah.

2:52.1

That's marketing teams.

2:53.0

Yeah, I mean, like in reality, they love each other. It was developed by Sonic Team with members of the initial D-Arcade game helping. Oh, wow. Pretty interesting. That's actually really neat. I didn't know that. It is. It is. make sense. So I played a bit

of this a couple weekends

3:08.3

ago during the open network test. A fair

3:10.1

fair amount, a couple hours, I would say. But not enough at all to give a review. But you boys, you have. Is that correct? Blessing has. I played enough to talk about it for sure. But like, I think my general thing that I've realized in playing this game, I was very excited

3:26.8

for this game.

3:27.4

Like, I've played a lot of cart racers, but I've never really sat down. I'm like, huh, what makes this good?
