And as a single woman, God has used this book to call me into a more intimate love relationship

with Christ. Well, after getting married to Robert last year, I found that the time I had

spent in the Song of Solomon over these years was even more meaningful. Now, partly because of my

parents' influence, I hadn't filled my mind with the world's view of romance, love, sex, marriage,

those movies or books or music that supposedly tell us what love is all about. But I'm so thankful that over the years I had immersed myself in

this book, The Song of Solomon, about a human king and his bride that points us to Christ

and the church. No matter what season of life you're in,

whether you're single or married, I know this book has rich insights to share about how much your

king loves you. Now let's continue in this series, how to fall and stay in love with Jesus.

Well, throughout this study, we've been focusing on how the Song of Solomon reveals the

amazing love of Christ for his bride.

His bride, the church, individual believers who are part of his bride. And this is the primary message of

scripture. It's something that has been in the heart of God from the foundation of the world.

God's redeeming love for sinners, pursuing them, making them a bride for his son. That's the heart of the gospel, how God has done that.

And human marriage is intended to point to that relationship between Christ and his bride.
