Well, according to my favorites over at the Cut, who covered this case this week,

police in Tarzana received a phone call about a dead body in a plastic bag in the driveway of a home.

Effron Gutierrez of the Los Angeles Police Department told reporters when the police arrived that nothing had been located.

However, a day later, an unhoused man was looking for recyclables in a dumpster about five miles away from the residence and found what appeared to be a human torso in a duffel bag.
