I don't know, I'm around. Happy New Year. I'm not putting a ton of pressure on myself. I hope you weren't either.

I think there are really great influencers that help you kickstart a new, new, new, new, new, new, I'm not that person.

In all seriousness though, I feel like I definitely do need things to look forward to.

And I think that we all are in a very weird place of periods of hopefulness when we see essential workers

and high-risk individuals starting to get the vaccine and the like.

But also really having no realistic idea of when and if things go back to normal, what we can really plan for,

it's just a weird state of limbo that we've been in for now almost a calendar year.

And it's a funny thing where I don't know, I'm always wrestling with like glossing over things

and trying to be more uplifting versus just telling you exactly how I feel.

And exactly how I feel is like anybody who's ever said new year, new me, I don't think he's ever lived in a cold climate.

Part of me likes the dreary melancholia that Winter brings in Chicago.

It's typically when I have creative breakthroughs and some serious personal lows.

But like, I don't know, it's too hard for people like in Chicago.

And I imagine like, I don't know, the Yukon.

Like Chicago isn't that far north and there's colder places, but the windshield here is otherworldly.

And I mean, we're not, it's not like casual cold.

It's like frostbite cold.

It's like long fellow deeds is toe gangrene cold.
