It's time for you and for me to get our minds aligned with the truth of God.

We're going to do that today by looking at John chapter 11, verses 11 through 13.

Okay, John chapter 11, verses 11 through 13.

Jesus has just discovered through someone coming and giving him a message that his friend Lazarus,

is very sick.

In Jesus waited two days before he told his disciples they needed to go back to Judea where Lazarus was.

His disciples were kind of afraid because back in Judea is where Jesus had been opposed and almost arrested.

So we pick up in verse number 11 and it says after saying these things, he said to them,

our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I go to awaken him.

The disciples said to him, Lord, if he's fallen asleep he will recover.

Now Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that he meant taking rest in sleep.

Then Jesus told them plainly, Lazarus has died.

And for your sake, I'm glad that I was not there so that you may believe but let us go to him.

So Thomas called the twin said to his fellow disciples,
