Our problems, Kirk, are not primarily political. They're not primarily even moral. They are primarily

spiritual. And we need political help and we need moral reform, but there's got to be the

changing of the heart by the power of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit and a revival.

You've got this book for us called 100 Bible verses that made America. Today, we live in a culture

that is trying to get rid of the Bible.

1952, prayer is out.

1953. Now the Bible is out. We officially told God he is not welcome in our children's school

and the education of our descendants. But you're saying that without the Bible, America

wouldn't even be here. I do not think we would have the America that we know today or the America

that history has known if there had been no Bible. If there had been no Bible, there would have

been no America as we know it. There wouldn't be a place today where we have the freedom

to debate the things we're debating about. That's why I just refuse to be marginalized as a Christian.

That's right. Isn't it amazing how Christianity has been on its heels and Christians

have sort of resigned themselves to this inevitable marginalization within culture when

the entire foundation of America was to marginalize

paganism, regressive barbaric ideas and bring into the forefront. In fact, the entire tone of

society ought to be a biblical tone. And yet we've somehow allowed ourselves to get off the offensive, spreading light,

and just crawl into the closet and maybe just hope not to be persecuted.

Well, I know you and I don't take kindly to being marginalized.
