Now, you're probably wondering what I'm doing here on a lovely Thursday morning.

Well, it's Vic here with your Thursday retrospective episode of Sober Awkward.

You might be thinking, hang on, haven't I heard this before?

And the answer is yes, yes, you have.

But like all good drinking stories and bad toilet humour,

they both get better with age, or at least less embarrassing the more times we tell them.

On Thursdays, we dust off our favourite episodes from the archives,

something you might have missed, loved or listened to at the start of your sober life.

Think of it as a journey back in time, or a jolly leftover, a bit like lasagna that tastes

Can we just have an interjection here, Hamish, about the food that we ate when we were

hung over? Because mine was different to the during session food. I think

hangover food is considered to be comfort food. We feel like shit so we eat something greasy to

feel better. It never worked. I remember thinking that food was the cure when I was hung over.

I used to have a pepperoni passion from Domino's, a fry-up. That was always obviously the one that we thought helped us.

Have we spoken in the past about how Domino's in England is far superior to the Domino's here?

Yeah, I don't know what it is.

I think they use different pepperami.

The bigger and the greasedier, the better.

I can remember my choice was the meteor.

I would get a meteor before a night out, then I would eat it before the night's out.
