Some things in the woods, a monster in the forest. It's something that is a child you

think is logical. In a forest, woods, they go on and on. They can be dark, they can be scary.

If you get off the path, you don't really know where you are. Everything can be very confusing.

If you lose your way, sometimes it's just that fear that makes you scary.

But what about when you're in the woods or a forest and there's something else there?

Nature itself can be scary. The animals, whatever may inhabit those areas that we are encroaching on,

may not be so happy that we are invading its space.

And animals, sometimes, let you know that. What about when it's not an animal?

What about when it is something very different, something maybe dark, something elemental to the setting?

That only comes out when provoked. That seems to be what happens in our next story.

As a pair of friends head out to the forest, late at night, and come across something.

Something that's very natural to the forest, but not so natural.

Us as humans invading its space. Take a listen.

It was about a year ago, in late September, early October,

within an acquaintance, and soon to be good friend of mine began talking about the band shirt I was wearing that day.

We converse through class and carried our conversation on the outside.

Right as we were about to depart, my friend brought up what would seem like a strange topic.

And to anyone that's not familiar with the paranormal, it would indeed seem strange.

He mentioned the woods behind his house and the strange happenings that were happening around them.

He mentioned noises sounding like an elephant's trumpet screeches, like those of a freight train, odd feelings like one is being watched, orbs, shadows, much more.

It sounded much too good to be true, so I, not knowing my new friend that much yet, asked if he drank excessively or did drugs.
