Summary

When a young woman agrees to house-sit for a local family, she expects a few quiet nights with the dogs and perhaps some creaky floorboards. But what she gets is a full-blown haunting. From phantom footsteps in the snow to growling dogs, an EMF spike in a basement full of war relics, and a front door that slams open with no cause, something in the house is trying to make itself known. After learning that one of the artifacts belonged to a dead Nazi soldier, the tension becomes even more disturbing. But it’s what her boyfriend saw in the hallway—the transparent figure of a man staring straight at him—that confirms it.
