Summary
Chris never expected a ghost hunting trip to actually change his mind about the paranormal.
When he visited family in South Carolina, the overnight investigation sounded more entertaining than frightening—an excuse to explore old locations, hear local legends, and maybe laugh about ghost stories afterward.
At first, that’s exactly what it was.
The group visited several reportedly haunted sites armed with K2 meters, a ghost box, and a guide who encouraged them to ask questions out loud. Most of the night felt harmless enough… until one spirit seemed to start responding directly to them.
And once the scratches appeared, the atmosphere changed immediately. By the end of the investigation, Chris wasn’t trying to debunk anything anymore. He was trying to figure out what had followed them through the darkness that night.
