This week will tell the story of Lita McClintin, a beloved woman from a prominent Atlanta family who was discovered

shot to death in the doorway of her own home with a box of pink roses next to her.

Who sent this deadly delivery and why did it take nearly two decades to bring the person

ultimately responsible for her death to justice.

Palm Beach society did not accept Lita Sullivan, period.

There's no reason that Lita should have become a victim of a violent crime of this manner,

and nothing in her background would have made her a victim.

The killer brought flowers. It was a trick. It was a trick. She was unarmed and

defenseless. In the early morning hours of January 16th, 1987 in an upscale community of Atlanta, Georgia,

a beautiful 35-year-old woman named Lita McClintin was

murdered. It was a cold-blooded attack that shocked the whole city. Lita came

from a prominent family, a family that never had a brush with the law.

So her untimely death to a lot of the same parties.
