Beyond the craziness of the political scene today, I can't think of a conversation more relevant as we talk about smart technologies and cognitive privacy.

You and I are surrounded by smart tech, algorithms, computers, phones, watches, Fitbits,

wearables of other kinds, webcams, sensors, smart home devices, surveillance cameras,

retina and fingerprint scanners, implantable brain chips, the wild west of AI and chatbots and employees whose bodily functions are monitored

by companies using wearable technologies. All of this speaks to the question of whether we have

sacrificed too much of ourselves, our autonomy and privacy on the altar of convenience.

So that's what today's conversation that's going to be about.
