Summary

When legendary Soviet dissident Alexander Solzhenitsyn delivered Harvard’s commencement address in 1978, the school’s leaders expected a stirring celebration on the West. Instead, they got a warning that their own countries were headed toward the same grim fate already suffered by Russia. Forty-five years later, Charlie lays out how Solzhenitsyn has been vindicated. As he foretold: "Men have forgotten God. That is why all these terrible things have happened."
