Good morning and welcome to our second service on Sunday mornings. We have two services, the first of which is our Bible prophecy update, and the second is our verse by verse study through the Word of God.

And we find ourselves today currently in the book of Philemon, actually the epistle. It's a very short letter. and our text today is going to be verses 8 through 14.

We'd encourage you to turn there at this time and join with us.

While you're doing that, I want to mention a couple things.

First, this Thursday, instead of our study through the book of Isaiah, we are going to have a special treat.

Those of you that were with us first service got to meet J.B., who's here from Japan.

And so on Thursday night, we're going to have her and I up here.

So it's going to be J.D. and J.B. up here, and we're just going to talk story, and

she's going to share her testimony, very powerful testimony, and what God is doing in Japan. She's

part of our international ministry team translates from English to Japanese, and so I really hope you're able to come and

join with us on Thursday night, 7 o'clock right here in the sanctuary and then it

will be live streamed at 7.30. Also want to give a shout out to the moms and wish you a blessed and happy Mother's Day.

I'm sorry I'm saying it like that, but I know that sometimes Mother's Day can be hard,

especially for those who don't have moms anymore that are not with us or maybe have a

strained relationship with your mom and so Mother's Day is not necessarily a happy day.

I know too that Mother's Day can be hard for would-be mothers who are unable to have children.

And Mother's Day can always sort of be a painful day. But we do want to celebrate Mother's Day.

We want to thank you. Moms, I mean, if you think about it, we couldn't do it without you, literally, by the way.

So let's give a, just an applause to the moms.

We love you so much, and we thank you so much.
