Everything from missing persons, strange creatures and murder mysteries,

Here are the five strangest mysteries of South Carolina.

Number five, The Sumner County Does.

In early morning hours of August 9th of 1976,

trucker named Martin Durant was driving down Locklare Road in Sumpner County, South Carolina.

That stretcher Road was nothing more than a patch of dirt back then. Martin rounded a bend. He saw something he didn't expect.

And there, lying on the side of the road were two bodies, one male who had been shot three times in the chest, and the other female who have been shot in the chest as well as the neck.

Martin quickly backtracked to a general store nearby to call the police who soon arrived on the scene.
