especially when we know that a family has waited years to see someone held responsible for the

death of their loved one. And that's very much the case here. Elisa Sherman was a dedicated parent

and her children, among other family members and friends, have waited a dozen years for answers.

And the answers are truly bizarre.

Her alleged killer's motives were far from typical. In fact, it's one of the strangest I've ever heard of. I've never encountered a case in the course of my work involving a motive quite like this one,

and I doubt I ever will. With that being said, Elisa Sherman was last seen alive

She was 53 years old at the time
