So to explain this theory of masculine work and the importance of it, Again, from Vox, they wrote,

the strange link between Trump's tariffs and in-cell ideology, written by Constance Grady.

And there's a segment of men who feel that women's progress toward equality has made them

romantically unattainable, but that this progress

comes due not to, well, I don't know, to be honest, I haven't dug deep enough to feel like I can

really grasp their argument, but I think I've dug far enough to know that it doesn't quite

fit with reality.

So they sort of argue that this progress is due to fake, worthless jobs that they refer to as email jobs that are often in the government being paid for by tax dollars.

And they build this little foundation and then put their ideology on top of it. So the article says,

quote, these men read Trump's economic policy as a project of redistributing money and jobs

away from women and back to men, ultimately for men's sexual gain. Doge slashed away the email jobs in the government, they argue,

while tariffs will force a recession that will ultimately kill the email jobs of the private sector.

Meanwhile, tariffs will bring manufacturing jobs, which are understood to be the rightful domain of men
