Let's begin by looking at the book of First Kings chapter three and four. Why don't you go there?

First Kings chapter three and four. Let me give you some background so you can get the picture with Solomon here in the introduction.

The title of my message is Solomon, the wisest man in the whole world.

The wisest men in the whole world.

First of all, Solomon, the third great king of Israel.

Remember the first one?

Saul, David, the father of Solomon.

And what's really cool is we're going to read in a moment in chapter 3 of 1st Kings.

He comes to the Lord at the age of 20 years old, and he comes to God and he says, God,

I'm standing before you in total humility humility and you'll see in a moment.

But listen to this first.
