Our Father, our God, Lord of our life and Lord of our Treasure, and we bow before you just as another reminder that we are submissive to you and to your will in our lives.

We ask you in a very special way this evening, these quiet few moments that are before us to search us and to see us as we

are and to ready us for the opening of our own lives as we open God's word, your word together,

and also as we give out of the treasure that you have filled for us. We do so with a sense of delight and gratitude.

For all of our lives, all we have and all we hope to be, is to be returned to you.

We give with that attitude this evening in the name of your son who gave it all.
