about solo parenting, which just to be clear, is very different

than being a single parent.

We both have very involved in supportive partners to parent with, but we're going to

focus this episode on what solo parenting looks like when they're out of town or unavailable

for a stretch of time.

So we'll chat about some tips and tricks we've learned

along the way, some special traditions we do with the kids, or things we intentionally do

not do with them while we are the solo parent on duty. But before we get into that, let's chat

and catch up about what is going on around the neighborhood for both of us. Well, for me,

we are in the middle of a big flooring project.

Yeah, you are.

Hence, while we are recording in the Ladd recording studio today, my house is just getting torn

apart.

Chris is in the middle of ripping up baseboards and all of our carpet, which we had in

a main area of our house and then in each of the bedrooms and all the

closets. So all of that is going. Once all of that is out, we will be putting down vinyl plank.

That's a wood look vinyl plank just throughout the entire house. Oh, it's going to be so good.
