Welcome to the mom room. It is the Mondays, Monday ever as I record this. I know you're listening on

Thursday, but bear with me. It's Solar Eclipse Day. So all the schools are closed. Luckily,

our situation is such that, does that make sense that sentence? Milo's school goes until 1230,

so I'm going to pick him up

at lunchtime but still so i'm trying to crush work this morning and then i go pick him up and

we have the little glasses to watch the eclipse but then i was seeing people online be like

they're nervous to watch the eclipse with their child because are they going to

keep the glasses on? What if they take them off and stare into the sun? Do they go blind? Like what is the

situation there? So I feel like if older kids, first of all, with regard to the schools, I feel like

older kids should have, I don't know,

because then I heard people say that you're putting the responsibility onto the schools

if something actually does happen and a child doesn't listen and they look into the sun.

But maybe for older kids, you view it as a class and then younger kids, they play inside

and you close the freaking curtains,

you know? I don't remember, like, my mom messaged me this morning. She's like, what did we
