We're coming off the heels of Father's Day.

My Father's Day was fun. It was a lot of food. A lot of food. So my dad came into town, which is always nice because, you know, the kids love to see him. It's always really fun having him in town. But his

favorite thing is roast beef. I made the best roast beef of my life. I have never had such a good roast beef. You bought this

thing from Stater Brothers out here in Southern California. And it was like you needed a wheel

barrel to pull this thing. It was huge. It was over six pounds. Big, big, big roast. And you

did a whole lot of things to it. But one of the things you did was a bacon lattice.

And I'm thinking to myself, there's no way this is going to both be at roasting temperatures

and not have the bacon come out like a mess, like a charred mess.

You have to roast roast beef low and slow.
