Hello everyone.

welcome back to my solo road.

My name is Sydney.

I live in a van and this is my podcast. So I am coming to you this week from I'm in Flagstaff Arizona.

I'm kind of like running my way to Denver from Phoenix and I just came from

Moab to Phoenix so I'm sitting in a hotel parking lot because that is my

favorite place to park if I have not mentioned it on the podcast already. I love sliding

into a hotel parking lot late at night, leaving in the morning, and nobody ever bothers

you in anywhere where there's not overnight parking, hotel parking lots are the absolute best.

So as long as you don't disrupt anyone and you don't stay too long, nobody will ever say anything.

So that is where I currently am, although there's also a ton of BLM and Flagstaffed so I don't recommend doing that around here. I just needed some service and a night near civilization if you will. Anyways, so today's episode is all about solo female van life, female friendships,

which sounds a little odd, but my best friend in the world, world Katie is who I'm going to be

interviewing or just kind of chatting with for today's episode. I'm actually

recording this part right now like a couple days later but her and I have like an insanely special

bond I have a few other very close friends but my relationship with Katie is

something that is very hard to put into words.

She is someone that like,

like the term soulmate literally comes to mind in like

the friend kind of way.

You know, we just get each other on levels that I have not experienced with any other friend before

and so we talk all about just the importance of a friendship like that and how we didn't have one for a really long time
