This is a full eclipse, a full solar eclipse, and it is definitely a very amazing site.

It is definitely one of the amazing miracles of Allah, and as Muslims we have an added obligation

and added sunnah to do.

Our Prophet ﷺ witnessed a solar eclipse in his lifetime in Medina and it was Allah's

Qadr that that solar eclipse take place the morning of the death of his son Ibrahim Ali,

his son Ibrahim, he has a son Ibrahim from Mariya, Ibrahim was a year and a half or two years old,

a year and a half to two years old, and he fell sick and he died in natural death,

and within an hour or two the sun became eclipsed.

People began speaking and they said, even the sun is crying because of the death of Ibrahim,

even the skies are weeping and sad because of the death of the process of the sun,

and our Prophet ﷺ despite the fact he had just lost his son,

he called the Muslims together, and he said Assalatu Jammat,

so all the people came in the city, and he gave a khutbah, and he said in that khutbah

that rarely the sun and the moon are of the mighty miracles of Allah,

ayatani min ayatilahi ta'ala, they are of the miracles of Allah,

in Qasifani, he moti ahadin wa l-adihayati, they don't eclips because of somebody being born or somebody dying,

and this is an example of the honour and truthfulness and sooth of our Prophet ﷺ,

he could have remained quiet, he could have let the rumours spread,

it would have boosted the ego of a false prophet, but he is not a false prophet,
