Faye and we are just delighted and honored that you are with us in this wonderful

holiday season. We are we're really excited about this show tonight because it

really we hope allows you the opportunity to see some great similarities among

world beliefs and world cultures that might be different from your own and so it

might be fun for you all to to sit back and enjoy and listen to some of the

material that Samantha and I have gathered for you and tonight's show on solar

deities. But before we get into our topic we have an animal of the week, a

crystal of the week for you. So Samantha shall I go first? Would you like me to

do that? That's fine. Yep. Okay. Great. Okay. So this is a request that I got from a

listener a while back. I'm still working my way through the questions that you

all have asked me about various animals and I'm going to talk about dog. The

question that the listener sent me was can a dog be kind of your totem animal

or your spirit animal or an animal that you're really deeply connected to because

often of course we think of that being generally wild animals and my answer to

her was yes absolutely because as we said in last week show all gods

critters got a place in the choir and so dogs do too. And obviously there's

some things that we know about dog just in our relationship with them we know

that they represent fatefulness and loyalty and protection. They are

descendants from coyotes and wolves and so if you if you are really drawn to

thinking about dog is your connection to the spirit world it would also be

helpful for you to study coyotes and wolves as well. And also to keep in mind
