Our body is essentially soil and water. The quality of our soil and water determines the

quality of our food, our body and our life. It's an unfortunate reality that in the last

two generations, approximately 60 to 80 years, we have seriously impacted the quality of

water and the quality of soil upon this planet. The soil, our very body, unfortunately, we

have depleted it and slowly turning it lifeless. We are talking about soil extinction. Well,

you never heard of that. You heard of a dodo extinction, dinosaur extinction, but we are talking

about soil extinction because all the studies are pointing out that there is enough scientific

data to show that we have only 80 to 100 crops of agricultural soil on this planet. That means 45 to

60 years max. So we are heading towards a serious depletion of soil. This means depletion of all life

while the biomass insects in the last 30 years have gone down by 80 percent. 66 percent of the

vertebrate population on the planet is gone in the last 50 years. Well, I can go on rattling out

statistics which look like Doomsday, but we are not talking about Doomsday. It is we, the last two

generations who have done this with the industrial scale of agriculture and irresponsible industrial

habits that we have developed which has polluted water polluted soil and above all the life in the

soil which largely exists in the first nine inches of top soil. Unfortunately, he is going down. We need

to understand this. The word human itself originates from the word humus. Humus means living soil.

We have to keep the soil alive, living full of life only then in nourishes our life and every other life.
