You know, some of us, you know, we have soft skin, soft skin.

And I know society kind of demonizes those who are, you know, sensitive.

Those who feel deeply, feel life, care about life, those with soft skin.

But I think we simply just don't understand yet the power behind soft skin.

Soft skin doesn't mean weak skin.

It means skin that breathes, that absorbs, that experiences.

It means being tuned into the world, to people, to emotions imagine not feeling anything would you even be human but i get it you know like having soft skin means you feel everything more and that can be

so annoying you feel the sharp edges of the world in a way that others don't. When someone

is unkind, you don't just hear it, you carry it. When someone is distant, you don't just notice

it, you absorb it. And that can be painful. Because life isn't always gentle. People aren't

always kind. Situations aren't always fair. So naturally we learn to harden

ourselves. But the problem is we also harden our hearts, capping our potential to pour into life.

So I like to think of it like this. Instead of having hard or tougher skin, I like to see it more as a

maturing of the skin. Because we want to continue to feel. We want to feel life deeply.

Understand the human experience. There's so much to offer. We just don't want to allow the

external world to sway our internal world all over the place.

You know, many of us, we've hardened ourselves.

You know, we've put on the armor because there comes a point where we decide that softness is dangerous.

We get tired of being hurt, tired of being overlooked, and tired of caring so deeply.

So we build this armor.

We make our skin thicker and we teach ourselves to be less affected.

We turn ourselves off and we convince ourselves that we do not care anymore.
